A closer look at the route
From Dar Mazik, a world of walks is on your doorstep. Our guides — Brahim, Youssef and Marouane Azdour — lead half-day and full-day excursions into the immediate mountains: traditional Berber villages, walnut and apple orchards, high viewpoints with panoramas of the Toubkal massif, and visits to local artisans still working by hand.
Excursions are shaped around your fitness level, time and interests. Families, first-time walkers and experienced hikers are all welcome, and for families with young children we can arrange mule-assisted treks so no one is left behind.

Village walk & viewpoints
Walk from Dar Mazik through the Mazik village and up to high viewpoints above Imlil, with panoramic views of the Toubkal massif. Return for lunch.
Ourika Valley & waterfalls
Drive to the Ourika Valley and hike to the Setti Fatma waterfalls — a series of seven cascades through a dramatic gorge. Swim in the pools, then return to Imlil.
